License (Qualification Licensing System for Nuclear Power Plant Operating Supervisor) In January 1981, the Society was appointed as the "executing agency authorized for licensing of the qualification" by the minister of Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Type for Licensing Qualification : Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Gas Cooled Reactor (GCR) Qualification Condition for Applicants A person having experience in operation of the nuclear power plant for more than 7 years (5 years for university graduates) and in operation of BWR, PWR or GCR for more than a year within the above-mentioned experience. Standard of license A person having received a high-grade simulator training concerning BWR or PWR at the training centers. A person having passed the practical-skill test concerning BWR or PWR at training centers. A person having passed the oral examination after taking class for license.
